Police reveal name of man found dying in Glasgow street
POLICE have named a man who was found dying in a Glasgow street.
William Gibb, 47, was discovered seriously injured in Elizabeth Street, Govan in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A man has appeared in court charged with murder after the death of Mr Gibb.
Emergency services were called to the scene at about 12.20am and found the 47-year-old.
Gavin Riley, 27, from Glasgow, made no plea or declaration at the city's sheriff court to charges of murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
He was remanded in custody.
