A man has been arrested over the robbery of an elderly woman who was pulled to the ground in a town street.
The victim, who is in her 80s, was knocked to the ground and robbed of her handbag while she walked along William Laing Crescent in Leven, Fife, on Sunday January 31.
Police said she was shaken but unhurt.
A 32-year-old man has now been arrested over the incident and is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.
Detective Sergeant Alex Raeside said: "We had a really positive response to our appeal for information and I want to thank the people of Leven for their assistance with our investigation."
