A racist bigot has become the latest person to admit playing a part in the spiraling level of violence at the T in the Park music festival.
Malcolm McKay admitted punching one security officer and brawling with another before kicking off in a police van after he was arrested.
The 19-year-old appeared in the dock at Perth Sheriff Court today and admitted a series of racially aggravated and sectarian offences at the festival.
McKay, Corpach Place, Glasgow, admitted assaulting Samual Oliveira by punching him on the body in an attack which the teenager accepted was racially aggravated.
He admitted swearing and shouting racist remarks at Parmjit Sodhi and challenging him to fight before getting into a struggle with him.
McKay also admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at the festival and in a police van by spitting, uttering threats and making sectarian and racist comments.
Finally, he admitted having cocaine when he was arrested at the festival on Strathallan Estate near Auchterarder, Perthshire, on 10 July.
Sentence was deferred for reports.
