Commuters travelling from Ayrshire faced disruption this morning due to overhead line damage.
Scotrail advised that the damage took place between Johnstone and Kilwinning.
The firm also warned that trains between Glasgow Central and Ayr, Ardrossan and Largs may be disrupted.

Commuters were given the option of replacement buses between Johnstone and Kilwinning. Scotrail said buses will be on the site from 7am running a shuttle service between stations.
