POLICE have issued a fresh appeal for information about a man missing for three weeks.
Officers searching for Stuart Clark want anyone who was in the vicinity of Dalmuir Square, Swindon Street and Dumbarton Road, in Dalmuir, between 12.20pm and 1pms on Sunday, January 17 to contact them.
They would also like to speak to anyone who was in Mackintosh’s Bar at the corner of Swindon Street and Dumbarton Road, Dalmuir around 11am and 2pm on Monday, January 18, following an unconfirmed sighting of the 59-year-old there.
Stuart is described as white, around 6ft 2in tall, medium build with red hair and beard. Stuart also wears glasses and has a distinctive stilted walk.
He is believed to be wearing a dark-coloured waterproof jacket and was carrying a black/grey rucksack.
Inspector David Quinn, of Clydebank Police Office, said:“It is now just over three weeks since Stuart was reported missing, and although he has been known to go missing before, he has never been gone for this length of time without contacting his family or friends.
“Last week, we issued CCTV of Stuart on the train between Cardross and Dalmuir on Sunday, January 17 around 11.45pm.
"We understand he may have been in Macs Bar on Monday, January 18, and I’d like to speak to anyone who may have been in that public house and who may have seen Stuart inside at that time.
"You may have vital information which might help with our ongoing enquiry.”
