GAME of Thrones star Kate Dickie and Harry Potter's Shirley Henderson will walk the red carpet at the Glasgow Film Festival.

The UK premiere of Urban Hymn, which stars Shirley as a sociology lecturer who becomes a residential care worker after the London riots, will take place at the Glasgow Film Theatre (GFT) on February 19.

The Scottish actress has appeared in several high profile films including Trainspotting, Bridget Jones's Diary and as Moaning Myrtle in the Harry Potter series.

Meanwhile, the Scottish premier of Couple in a Hole, starring Kate and The Thick of It's Paul Higgins as an affluent Scottish couple living in the the middle of a French forest, will be shown on February 25.

Kate, from Glasgow, has starred in Red Road and plays Lysa Arryn in Game of Thrones.

Film festivals organisers said they was "delighted" to welcome their latest guests.
