THE number of days lost to sickness fell at West Dunbartonshire Council last November and December.
They fell by 1,267 compared to the same period in 2014 - down 21.9 per cent. The council said the results came after they introduced a range of initiatives designed to offer alternative working options to avoid absence such as alternative duties, working from home, shift swaps, and flexibile working.
