Police area ppealing for information following after a 34-year-old man was hit by a bus in a serious road crash this morning.
Just after midnight on Saturday into Sunday morning, February 14, a double deck bus was being driven south on Lochend Road.
At the same time, a 34 year-old man walked off the footpath, on to the road and was struck by the bus.
Emergency services attended and the 34 year-old man was taken by ambulance to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he remains in a critical condition.
No one else was injured in connection with the incident.
Sergeant Andy Shearer of the Divisional Road Policing Unit at Glasgow said: “Enquiries are at an early stage to establish the exact circumstances of the incident and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision to get in touch.”
“Anyone with information is urged to contact police at the Road Policing Complex at Govan on 101.”
