Tory peer Michelle Mone has broken her foot after falling down a manhole.
The Glaswegian businesswoman shared an image on her social media with fans of her broken foot and explained, "Home from hospital thanks to the great team. Fell down a manhole yesterday and broken my foot. Business as normal tomorrow."
The unfortunate injury happened ahead of the former Ultimo boss shooting for You magazine.
She has been sharing with her fans her diet ahead of the shot. She shared an image of her healthy breakfast and said: Shooting the cover of a big magazine next week. It's taken me four weeks to get into the zone. I'm now in and it feels great."
She later told her fans she was going ahead with the shot despite her injury, adding: "Decided to go ahead with the big shoot tomorrow for the cover of @youmagsocial. I hate letting people down."
