Police have named a man who died in a two-car crash in Dumfries and Galloway.
Michael Anderson, 51, from Dalbeattie, died on the A701 near to Craigielands House, Beattock, on Monday after a collision with another car.
The driver of the second car, a 33-year-old man from Glasgow, remains in Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary with serious leg and arm injuries.
Police said the procurator fiscal has been informed.
