Glasgow Times:

The Love is All Around stars apologised to fans saying it was a "massive regret" frontman Marti could not perform the show which is part of their The Big Picture tour.

The band said on Facebook: “This is the first show in our 30-year history that has been cancelled due to ill health and unfortunately it will not be possible to reschedule.

“This decision wasn’t taken lightly and we understand fans will be disappointed.”

Fans were promised refunds and the band said other shows won’t be affected. Concert goers offered support to Marti.

Elaine Anderson said: “Hope you feel better soon Marti. The fans are sending lots of hugs and kisses.”

Lisa Kirby added: “I wouldn’t be surprised if he has lost his voice. He sang his heart out at the O2 the other day.”

The band are due in Newcastle tomorrow and Glasgow on Saturday.

They also have two other Scottish dates left including Aberdeen's GE Oil and Gas Arena on Sunday, March 13 and Inverness Leisure Centre on Monday, March 14.

The group shared an image as they entered Newcastle and said: "It's goodbye Wales as we head to Newcastle. We'll make it up to you Cardiff! #WWWTheBigPicture."
