Verdict: Four stars.

Rumours of Oasis reforming are constantly refuted by the band's patriarch Noel Gallagher.

But fans of the Britpop legends crave that nostalgia and no one is offering a better experience of that than tribute act Definitely Oasis.

The Indie rockers put on an authentic display of some of Oasis' best back catalogue when they played Glasgow's Garage nightclub on Saturday night.

Opening up with Morning Glory, frontman Brian McGhee, who previously led the Complete Stone Roses for the bet part of a decade, embodied his inner Liam Gallagher as he strolled on stage with the same style of swagger, commanding the attention of the audience.

The singer then quickly followed with fan favourites' Acquiesce and Slide Away before the band's Noel Gallagher dedicated She's Electric to all "the beautiful ladies in the audience".

The show quickly had the same feel as an Oasis' concert with fans belting out each tune back to the band and creating a rock n' roll atmosphere reminiscent of the Manchester outfit's previous Glasgow concerts.

Many tribute acts often fail because the rest of the group isn't as strong as the original. Definitely Oasis, however, offer up a strong Noel and Liam as proven when the older Gallagher brother took to the stage to sing tracks Little By Little, The Masterplan and Don't Look Back in Anger which he dedicated to the people of Brussels.

Some Might Say, Supersonic and Roll With It were highlights, and really amped up the atmosphere inside the iconic Glasgow nightclub.

And in the same style as Oasis' the band offered up a cover of The Who's My Generation before ending on a high with Cigarettes and Alcohol.

The only criticism is that they left the audience craving the hits that weren't on their set list such as Whatever and Stand By Me.

But the lads offer the best of Oasis and fill the void - for now - the band left fans after they split.
