Gogglebox fans took to Twitter in their droves, claiming they couldn't "understand a word" a Glaswegian family was saying.
Many asked Channel 4 if they could provide subtitles after the popular show introduced Croydon-based The Manuels from Glasgow.

Viewers tweeted to say their "very strong" accents made it difficult to know what they were saying, while others were pleased to see a Scottish family on the programme.
