Police have confirmed that a body found on the Isle of Rum is missing kayaker Jason Chung Wai-Ho.
Officers discovered the body on Friday, March 25.
The 40-year-old, from Glasgow, was last seen on Traigh beach, in the Arisaig area of the Highlands on Wednesday, January 13.
A statement posted by Highland & Islands Police on Facebook said: "Police Scotland can confirm that the body found on Friday, March 25 2016 on the Isle of Rum has been formally identified.
"The man has been named as Jason Chung Wai-Ho, aged 40, from Glasgow.
"Mr Ho was last seen on Wednesday, January 13 2016 around the area of Traigh Beach in Arisaig.
"His family are understandbly upset by their loss and have said that he will be greatly missed. They do not wish to make any further comments and have requested that their privacy is respected at this difficult time."
