Three men have been taken to hospital following a disturbance in Glasgow's East End.

Police were called to a disturbance at a property on Green Close in the Calton at around 12.05pm on Sunday, April 17.

Three men, including two 21-year-olds and a 26-year-old, were taking to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where they were treated for serious injuries.

It is understood that the men have been stabbed.

Police also say the incident is not related to yesterday's Old Firm match at Hampden Park.

A police spokesman said: "We can confirm that at around 12.05pm on Sunday, April 17, police were called to a report of a disturbance within a property on Green Close, Calton.

"Three men aged 26, 21 and 21 were taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary to receive treatment for serious injuries.

"Enquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at London Road via 101."
