THE left wing alliance Rise launched its manifesto in Glasgow with a rallying cry to socialists to give it support.
The new party, formed after the independence referendum, includes ex MSPs, activists and members of other socialist groups.
Rise commits to a second referendum in the next five years and a 60% tax rate for the highest earners
The party is looking to pro-independence socialists to vote for its candidates on the list vote.
Cat Boyd, Rise number one candidate on the Glasgow regional list, said: “We set-out a strong set of policies designed to tackle some of the most urgent problems Scotland faces.
“A living income for Scotland's carers, a higher rate of income tax on the richest, and a new £10 per hour minimum wage, these proposals would transform life for millions of Scots.”
