POLICE have said a fire which broke out at Billy Connolly's old school in Glasgow was not suspicious.
Emergency services rushed to the former St Peter's Boys School in Partick, which has been converted into flats in the early hours of Sunday morning after a blaze broke out.
Firefighters rescued 17 people from the building on Stewartville Street and other residents were evacuated.
Four people were treated for smoke inhalation, and other minor injury or medical conditions.
A police spokeswoman said: "The fire is not being treated as suspicious at this time."
