1 The Great British Dog Walk

Pollok Country Park, Glasgow, May 1

Animal lovers will be able to raise money for a good cause while spending some quality time with their pet pooches when the Great British Dog Walk comes to Glasgow on Sunday.

The event is part of a national campaign designed to raise funds for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, with walks organised at National Trust properties across the UK.

Tickets for the event are £10. Pre-register to receive a special gift for you and your dog.

2 Molotov Jukebox

King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut, Glasgow today and Electric Circus, Edinburgh, April 29

Game of Thrones fans are in for a treat as Osha, aka Nat Tena or Tonks from Harry Potter, brings her eclectic band of gypsy, ska, pop rockers to Scotland.

The six-piece will play tracks from their genre-defying new album Tropical Gypsy along with some gems from debut Carnival Flower.

3 Disney on Ice

The ice skating spectacular’s silver anniversary show sees Mickey and Minnie taking the audience on a sightseeing holiday through the worlds of The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan and Frozen. With impressive choreography from award-winning skaters set to everyone’s favourite Disney compositions, the show, which has entertained families for 25 years, is certain to be a big hit.

5 Chris Cornell

Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow, April 29

The Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman will give fans a lesson in rock when he returns to Glasgow on Friday. The music pioneer will be playing tracks from his 2015 album Higher Truth along with some rock gems. Support will be provided by Fantastic Negrito.
