There really is no escape from the Old Firm rivalry as Celtic manager Ronnie Deila found out when he ran into a young Rangers fan - in Manchester.

Deila was in Manchester to watch Manchester City play out a goalless draw against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

But after the game was over, Deila was ambushed by a 12-year-old Rangers fan outside the stadium.

In a funny video that has had more than 205,000 views on social media, Greig Brown's son Finlay can be heard shouting "come on the Rangers" as Deila walks past.

Cheerful Deila sees the funny side of it and has a laugh as he continues on his way.

Greig, 38, a joiner from Armadale, West Lothian, said the whole experience was a great laugh.

He said: "We're massive Rangers fans but my son also loves Manchester City and Real Madrid.

"I had to wait seven hours to get tickets for the game but it was definitely worth it.

"After the game when we saw Deila, I told Finlay not to be cheeky but just to shout 'come on the Rangers'.

"Deila was great to be fair and gave Finlay the thumbs up. It certainly changed my opinion of him, he seems like a really nice guy.

"We posted the video after the game but I had no idea it was going to go viral, people seem to love it."

It was a night to remember for Finlay as he also met Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo on the night.

Greig added: "Finlay managed to sneak round the back of the security and managed to meet Ronaldo.

"He came back to me in absolute tears, he couldn't believe he met him. He idolises the guy.

"Finlay was dancing with the Real Madrid fans as well. He had an absolutely great time.

"This is one of the best football trips I've ever had and it's one I'll remember for the rest of my life."
