Man held over death of 43-year-old found dead in Airdrie
A man has been arrested in connection with the death of another man who was found injured in a North Lanarkshire street.
The injured 43-year-old, who has not yet been named, was pronounced dead in Gibb Street, Airdrie, on Thursday evening.
Police were called to the scene at about 5.40pm that day.
A 45-year-old man has now been arrested over the death, Police Scotland confirmed on Friday.
He is currently being held in police custody and is expected to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
