AN ARMED robber threatened a member of staff at a garage in Bearsden.
The thief entered a BP Garage in Milngavie Road at around 5.35pm on Sunday, May 1.
He threatened a member of staff with a weapon and demanded money.
He stole a three figure sum of cash before making off city bound on Milngavie Road.
Police say no-one was injured in the incident however the member of staff has been left badly shaken.
Detective Sergeant John Aikman said: “We are in the process of gathering and checking CCTV footage from in an around the area but I’m appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time to contact us. Any information could prove vital in our enquiries to trace the man responsible for this crime.”
The suspect is described as white, around 6ft tall with slim build and dark hair.
He was wearing a black jacket with a grey hooded top (with the hood up), grey tracksuit trousers, and white trainers.
