A missing Edinburgh mum has been found safe and well in South Lanarkshire.
Shelly Paterson was last seen leaving an address in Calder Park at around 5.40pm on Saturday, April 30 and had not made contact with family or friends since this time.
An appeal was launched by police and she has now been traced.
A police spokesman said: "Police Scotland can confirm that Shelly Paterson has been found.
"The 23-year-old has been traced within the South Lanarkshire area.
"The public are thanked for their assistance during this appeal."
