HAMPDEN Park has been shortlisted for three prestigious awards.

The South Side venue, which hosted April’s Old Firm match, is nominated in three categories in the Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards 2016.

Hampden and its catering and hospitality partner, Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events, is up for the Non-Matchday Mystery Shopper Award, Matchday Hospitality Award (large stadium) and the Overall Matchday Hospitality Award, in recognition of its private, corporate and matchday events.

The stadium will receive a mystery shopper style sales call before its entries are judged by an expert panel. 

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on June 2 at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
