A MAN is due in court following an armed robbery at a garage in Bearsden.
Police said a 24-year-old man had been arrested and was in police custody.
The arrest comes after a thief entered a BP garage in Milngavie Road at 5.35pm on Sunday.
He was said to have threatened a member of staff with a weapon.
A three figure sum of cash was stolen in the raid.
The 24-year-old is expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court tomorrow.
