AUSSIE favourite Jason Donovan will tread the boards at Glasgow's King's Theatre this November.
The singer will play legendary record producer Sam Phillips in the Million Dollar Quartet.
The Tony award-winning musical is based on the "father of Rock 'n' Roll" Sam Phillips, and it will run at the King's from November 14 to 19.
Inspired by the true story of the famed recording session where Sam Phillips, the "father of Rock 'n' Roll" brought together icons Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley, Million Dollar Quartet features more than 20 legendary hits including Blue Suede Shoes, Hound Dog, I Walk The Line and Great Balls of Fire.
Soap legend Donovan, who starred in Neighbours as Scott Robinson, has an impressive musical theatre background with lead role in The Rocky Horror Show, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Sweeney Todd and most famously, Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
