SUMMER classics will be shown in an outdoor screen in Troon as part of a drive-in movie events.

Jaws, Grease and Dirty Dancing are the movies of choice at the drive-in events which will start on July 2. 

Deals firm itison have chosen the seaside town of Troon for the first time, and they have pick a location at the harbour for the showings. 

The firm said: "Over 100,000 people have attended itison Drive-In Movies events to date, seeing classic movies brought to life in matching locations, and now Troon harbour is set for an Ayrshire to Amity Island transformation for sunset screenings of Steven Spielberg’s iconic thriller, Jaws – with Americana themed matinees of Grease and early evening showings of Dirty Dancing on the world’s biggest mobile LED screen.
