Filming for the highly-anticipated Trainspotting sequel is now officially underway and fans in Edinburgh have been treated to a sneak peak.
Scots actor Ewen Bremner, who starred as Spud in the 1996 classic, was caught filming scenes in the Muirhouse area of Edinburgh.

The film is loosely based on author Irvine Welsh’s Trainspotting follow-up, Porno, and follows the main characters 20 years on.
Fans will be reminded of when filming took place on Princes Square for the original's iconic 'Choose Life' scene, now one of the most famous openic sequences in British cinema.
A large film crew and Danny Boyle, who will be returning as director, were also spotted on set.
