Evening Times columnist Michelle McManus is now off the market after she announced her engagement to her boyfriend Jeff Nimmo.
Jeff proposed to the former Pop Idol winner while the couple were on holiday in Tenerife.
Michelle revealed the news on Twitter, saying: “Just back from Tenerife. The sun shone, the cocktails flowed & the love of my life asked me to marry him.”

According to Jeff's Facebook page he has been in a relationship with the Evening Times columnist since last September.
