SCHOOL janitors will start a five day strike today at schools across Glasgow.
The unison members are in dispute with council owned firm Cordia over additional payments.
They are demanding additional Working Context and Demands Payment (WCD) rates which range from £500 to £1000 a year.

The Janitors are planning to protect outside the City Chambers in the long running dispute and are seeking the support of Glasgow’s new MSPs.
Sam Macartney Unison Branch officer, said: “Our jannies deserve justice. Glasgow City Council is treating them with contempt. We will be asking Glasgow’s newly elected MSPs to support the Justice4Jannies campaign”
A council spokeswoman said: “The council will continue to work with Cordia to ensure that our schools and nurseries will be open for business as usual.” It expects all breakfast clubs to operate as normal during the strike.”
