CELTIC'S new manager Brendan Rodgers has been snapped arriving in Glasgow.

Eagle-eyed Hoops fans took to Twitter to herald Rodgers' leaving Glasgow Airport, where it's understood he flew in on a private jet. 

The Irishman will officially be unveiled as the new Celtic manager this afternoon and meet supporters at 6pm at the stadium following his media conference.

He becomes the club’s 18th manager and his appointment has garnered much praise as a statement of ambition.

A life-long Celtic supporter himself, it’s a dream come true for the 43-year-old. 

Speaking after his appointment was announced on Friday afternoon, Brendan Rodgers said: "I will give my new role everything I have and do all I can to bring our supporters exciting, entertaining and winning football.
