GLASGOW'S Kelvingrove bandstand will host a free family day this weekend.
The event, from 12-4pm, on Sunday, will kickstart a packed Summer programme of live music, talks, theatre and arts and crafts.
Performers will include Glasgow Wind Band, singer/songwriter Christy O’Donnell and street band, Brass, Aye? 
Other events will be hosted on June 19, July 31, and August 28.
June sees the West End Festival come to the bandstand with a celebration of parade artists and community groups on June 5 and VOICE, a day celebrating choirs on June 18, from 11am – 7pm.
The Wee Write! Family Day will take place onstage on Saturday July 9 and July will host free events for children every Wednesday from 10.30am with authors, musicians, magicians and artists.
The Bandstand Summer Cinema will return from August 18-21 with food, drinks and favourite feel good movies August 18th – 21st.
The season ends with a bang on the September bank holiday weekend with the free Foxstar Music and Arts Festival.
