A CAR was impounded by police after its driver was allegedly driving without insurance in Glasgow city centre.
The incident happened on the M8 near Charing Cross at around 5.45pm on Tuesday.
Police say their patrol stopped a 56-year-old man who was allegedly driving with no insurance.
