COPS flooded one of the main road's in Glasgow's East End to deal with a man who allegedly kicked off.
London Road, between Bain Street and Green Street, in the Calton was in complete shut-down from around noon on Thursday.
Dozens of cops - including armed police and negotiators - spent hours trying to calm the man down.
Police vehicles and an ambulance surrounded the area which was closed off to motorists for several hours.
Armed guards eventually stormed the flat in London Road and huckled the bare chested man.
Several officers carried him out through a back door towards a police van.
One local said: "This isn't unusual for round here, it's the Calton.
"We all know the lad and there is no need for that amount of police."
The road reopened to traffic around 2pm but locals say the incident started from around 10am.
Police Scotland confirmed that they arrested a 20-year-old man and he was detained in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 12pm on Thursday, May 26, police were called to a report of a man causing a disturbance within a property in London Road, Glasgow.
"Divisional officers attended and were assisted by specialist officers, including forge negotiators.
"A 20-year-old man was arrested and detained in connection with the incident.
"Nobody was injured."
