CHARRED debris retrieved from the relics of the Art School's Mackintosh building has been brought to life again for auction.
Items from the burnt out building, which went up in flames in 2014, have been made into a unique set of silver spoons and dazzling brooches.
The unique items are to be auctioned off in New York, marking the launch of the Mackintosh Campus Appeal in the USA.
Helen Marriott, joint head of jewellery at the school created the spoons which each include a nail retrieved from the building after the blaze.
The brooches, made by Helen's colleague Anna Gordon, feature fragments of paint, wood and cinder from the Mackintosh building.
Professor Tom Inns, art school director, said: " We are delighted to offer for auction this unique set of silver spoons and exquisite jewellery.
"Creativity and innovation are at heart of everything we do at the GSA.
"These wonderful pieces demonstrate how with creativity beauty can come from adversity.”
