POLICE have launched two separate investigations into the deaths of a man in Ayrshire and a woman in Glasgow.
John Kiltie, 44, died after a disturbance in a street in Girvan, South Ayrshire yesterday morning. Police investigating the death said they are treating it as unexplained.

Mr Kiltie is understood to have worked as a bus driver for firm Stagecoach and was a father of young children.
Officers were called to Park Road in the town, along with an ambulance, after a disturbance was reported just after 11am yesterday but found that the man had died.
A police spokesman said: "At 11:10am on Saturday, the police and emergency services responded to reports of a disturbance on Park Road, Girvan.
"A man, who is yet to be identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the cause of death. The death is being treated as suspicious. Inquiries are ongoing."

Meanwhile, earlier that day, police in Glasgow also launched a separate investigation into the unexplained death of a woman in the southside of Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to Kildrostan Street in Pollokshields at about 06:05 after reports that a woman had died.
An area of pavement on the street was taped off by police and a forensic tent set-up as part of police investigations.
The death is being treated as unexplained while arrangements are made to carry out a post-mortem examination.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said of the case yesterday: "Emergency services are at the scene and inquiries are continuing. A post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course and the death is currently being treated as unexplained."
