CONCERNS are growing for a man who disappeared two weeks ago.

William Rennie, who is known as Billy, was last seen on Sunday May 15 on West George Street.

The 42-year-old from Leyden Street in Maryhill takes regular medication and it is not known whether he has this with him.

He is described as around 5ft 8in tall, with a heavy build, short brown hair and brown eyes.

Although usually clean-shaven, he have grown stubble since his disappearance.

When he was last seen he was wearing navy jogging bottoms, a grey camouflage body warmer with a green hooded top underneath, a dark coloured woolly hat, white and grey running trainers and red headphones.

Sergeant Gary Kelly, based out of Shettleston Police Office said: "Extensive enquiries have been underway in Glasgow to trace Billy safe and well.

"However, all attempts to locate him have so far proved unsuccessful.

"Given that Billy requires regular medication, we are concerned for his wellbeing and just want to know that he is safe and well.

"If anyone has any information or knowledge regarding his whereabouts I would appeal to them to pass that information onto police.

"His family is extremely worried for him and just want him back safe and well."
