There was a lot at stake at this year’s British Soap Awards because people were really rooting for Danny Dyer to win a gong for his role as EastEnders’ Mick Carter.

And while it’s literally impossible to please all soap fans with who ends up victorious at these awards, Twitter seemed particularly disappointed when Danny lost out on Best Actor again, this year to Emmerdale’s Danny Miller.
No, I'm sorry but Danny Dyer should of won this! #SoapAwards

He’d already lost out on the best on-screen partnership award as well.
Sally & Tim are funny but COME ON how did @MrDDyer & @kelliebright76 #milinda not win that award #bestonscreenpartnership #SoapAwards
