On her personal Facebook page Paulina said: "A lot of people have now seen my sisters post and its not something we wanted to share via social media but we have seen in the past this has helped with others and if we can find anything at all from these posts then it would mean the world to us.

"If anyone has seen her please let us know, she suffers from severe depression and is really unwell, we are extremely worried as we have had no contact with her and neither has our family for more than 24 hours.

"If anyone has any idea or information of her where abouts please contact us or the Police on 101."

Bridget is described as white, 4ft 10” in height and of slim build with short blond hair.

When she was last seen she was wearing a navy blazer with light blue or grey jeans and black boots.

Inspector Neil MacDougall of Drumchapel Police Office is appealing for any information on Bridget’s whereabouts. He said: "Concern is growing for Bridget’s safety and wellbeing as it is out of character for her to go missing.

“She is known to frequent Greater Glasgow, Clydebank and Paisley areas, though is believed to have been in the Renfrew area on Monday evening. I would urge anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
