Imagine turning up for a round of golf and bumping into this gigantic 15-foot alligator.

The scary reptile decided to go for a stroll through a Florida course when it was captured on camera by a couple of golf enthusiasts.

As one man took pictures of the gator, his friend who was filming the creature joked: "Why don't you get up next to the alligator to get some perspective."

He added: "That's the biggest gator I have ever seen."

The creatures are a common site on golf courses in Florida.

They keep to their lakes as people play golf around them.

However, you wouldn't want to get too close to this big guy.
