Prince’s untimely death has resulted in people queuing to buy his music all around the world. In the US, he has pushed the bar on the Billboard charts.
For the first full sales week following his death on April 21, five of Prince’s albums were in Billboard’s top 10, at number two, three, four, six and seven.
Only Beyonce’s Lemonade kept the late musician from the top spot. Billboard has said no artist has had that many albums in the top 10.

The Minneapolis star had 19 albums in Billboard’s top 200, beating a record of 14 previously set by The Beatles. Billboard said the top sellers were three collections of hits, plus seminal works Purple Rain and 1999.
The singer, 57, sold 4.4 million albums and songs the week after his death, compared to 19,000 the week before.
This all comes soon after the revelation that Prince had been in talks to play Glastonbury 2016.

Michael Eavis, the 80-year-old founder of the festival, told The Sun that he had been trying to book the US star. “I was going to meet his agent,” he said. “It was all planned, but it didn’t happen.”
Tributes continue to be paid to Prince since his body was found at his Paisley Park compound.
