11 clichéd things that Glaswegians do when the sun is out

It’s so rare that we get good weather that all sorts of strange behaviour reveals itself.

Here are some clichés that you will definitely see:

1. Using any spare moment to get a bit of sun, no matter where you are.

2. Refusing to put on sun cream in an unhealthy bid to make the most of the two days of summer we normally get.

3. Then getting burnt, immediately.

4. Buying a rubbish disposable barbecue and eating slightly burnt sausages in Kelvingrove Park.

5. Using the phrase “taps aff” far too often on social media.

6. Seeing way too many people putting “taps aff” into action.

7. Getting a little bit overexcited about being able to hang your washing up for once.

8. Rejoicing that it’s hotter than England, and rubbing it in their faces.

9. Practically living in beer gardens.

10. Daytime drinking. Just, copious amounts of daytime drinking.

11. Complaining that it’s too hot.

It is far too hot in Glasgow. Seriously.
