Some of the city's finest buskers will help the DJ, who is famous for tracks including Praise You and Right Here, Right Now, announce his show by playing some of his biggest hits in central Glasgow at 12pm today.
Jamie Keenan of the Lafontaines will kick things off at the St Enoch Square at 12pm.
The buskers will also attend his show at the Hydro in December.
Fatboy Slim, whose real name is Norman Cook, said: "I started my career busking with Paul Heaton pre the Housemartins, we were called The Stomping Pond Frogs in the early 1980s, so I’m very proud to be a supporter of buskers nationwide. It’s a story come full circle."
