POLICE have launched an appeal to help find a Bearsden man who was last seen by his family on Saturday night.

Stuart Teese was last seen by his wife at his home in Stirling Avenue at around 8.30pm on Saturday night.

The 54-year-old left the address in his silver Ford Fiesta Zetec with the registration plate SH11 EHM, and it is not known where he was going.

Stuart is described as around 5ft 8ins, of medium build and clean shaven with short grey hair.

He was wearing a blue and grey t-shirt with horizontal stripes, beige shorts and black Vans trainers with white edges.

Inspector Kenny Darroch, from Kirkintilloch Police Office, said: “Stuart’s family are extremely concerned about his well-being and want him to come home as soon as possible.

“We know that Stuart left in his car and so I would appeal to the public to look out for a silver Ford Fiesta Zetec with the registration plate SH11 EHM and contact us immediately if you see it.

“We also know he likes to spend time in the Loch Lomond and Rowardennan areas and there is a possibility he may have travelled there.

“However Stuart could be anywhere just now, so I would ask everyone to keep an eye out for him and let us know if you think you may have seen him.

“Anyone with information regarding Stuart’s whereabouts is asked to contact officers at Kirkintilloch Police Office on 101.”
