JK Rowling has said that 'Scotland will see independence now' after the UK voted to leave the EU.
Ms Rowling, who campaigned for the Scotland to remain part of the UK during the independence referendum, said that the Brexit vote would speed up Scottish independence, adding that Prime Minister David Cameron's legacy will be 'breaking up two unions'.
The Harry Potter author was the victim of online abuse during the independence referendum after she donated £1m to the pro-union campaign.
She tweeted: "Scotland will seek independence now. Cameron's legacy will be breaking up two unions. Neither needed to happen."

She also claimed that the result would lead many No voters to 'think again'.
She later tweeted: "I don't think I've ever wanted magic more."
The UK voted 51.9 per cent to 48.1 per cent to leave the EU.
David Cameron has yet to make a statement on the result, however, Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said that he would stay on as Prime Minister.
