Animal lovers are being urged to foster a dog.
Dogs Trust Glasgow has made the appeal, which is part of its Home from Home scheme.
The scheme places dogs in foster homes in their local area and gives dogs of all ages, shapes and sizes who might not be coping well in kennels the chance to thrive in a home environment and prepare for family life again.
Anyone who would like to offer a foster home to a dog should call 0300 303 0292 or visit www.dogstrust.org.uk.
