GLASGOW is a city rife with great photography opportunities.

Riddled with grand architecture running the gamut from Victorian times to the present day, boasting stunning parks and with events big and small every day, there's plenty for snappers to document.

Here we've gathered a few of our favourite photos taken of the city from the Instagram community.

Vincenzosverinophoto captured this stylish image of a VW campervan in the Merchant City.

Vladimir993 took this stunning shot of the Tolbooth Steeple. All that remains of what was once the HQ of Glasgow's city council , it now stands stands alone at Glasgow Cross.

This image of the Bell's Bridge was taken by holstendog63. Interesting fact, the bridge was constructed in 1988 to coincide with Glasgow's Garden Festival.

George Square looks rather stormy in this shot by ollyhvh capturing the recent pro-EU demonstration there.

We suspect it's impossible to take a bad photo of Kelvingrove Art Gallery or Glasgow University. Here _ronasinclair_ certainly took a great one.

We like how hutchesonsgla has captured their restaurant through the lens not just of the camera, but sunglasses too.

Instagrammer zenarcade2003 has scores of wonderful photos of Glasgow's architecture taken from original angles. Here's one of the pedestrian bridge over the M8.

The McLennan Arch was captured by martin_ritchie in this shot. Dating back to the 19th century, the arch is all that remains of the Atheneum club.

The Clyde Arc, or to give it its proper Glaswegian name, the Squinty Bridge basks in the sun in this shot.
