SOME of the world’s best known comic book heroes have arrived in Glasgow to provide a knockout blow for a comic convention.
Batman (David Wharton) and Robin (Jamie Wharton), and undersea queen Mera (Laura Cranston) will be among the devotees at the biggest Glasgow Comic Con ,which is moving to the city’s Royal Concert Hall this year.

The celebration of comic books and sees leading artists from around the world visiting today and tomorrow.
Guests include Kingsman artist Dave Gibbons and All-star Superman and New X-Men’s Frank Quitely and Govan Parlov, who is behind Black Widow, among others.
There will be plenty of panels and signings for autograph hunters and costume play. Talented up and coming comic book artists will also be displaying their work and chatting to those attending the event.
