HE'LL leave audiences shaken and stirred... Sir Roger Moore is to appear at the King's Theatre Glasgow.

The film star, who played James Bond in seven movies, will talk to audiences about his life and career.

And the event, on November 25, promises inside stories and exclusive anecdotes ranging from his internationally-renowned TV series The Saint and The Persuaders, through to Hollywood blockbusters and the 007 films.

Sir Roger said: “I was last in Glasgow a couple of years ago helping to open the Commonwealth Games for UNICEF and boy what an event that was – we raised £5million.

"I’ve always found Glasgow audiences to be generous, warm, receptive and far more cultured than those in Edinburgh – I jest of course, Edinburgh audiences can be just as nice, though I’m not going there on this tour so they’ll need to take the train to Glasgow.”

Author Gareth Owen will interview Sir Roger, having worked with Roger Moore on his autobiography My Word Is My Bond and Bond On Bond.

Gareth has interviewed Roger previously at the BFI Southbank, the Barbican Centre and at various UNICEF fundraisers throughout Europe.

The show will be followed by an audience Q&A.
