Despite the emotions of having just won his second Wimbledon title, Andy Murray still had enough energy left to be able to fist-pump at news more Sherlock episodes are being filmed.

The 29-year-old spoke to Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife Sophie Hunter after his win, and could not contain his joy at meeting the actor.

Clutching his trophy, Andy told the star: “I’m a massive fan. A huge, huge fan.”

Benedict responded: “Likewise, likewise, thank you very much… Really, it was very inspiring to watch. Really.”

However, Andy was more interested in finding out about what the actor is “up to” than taking compliments.

The Imitation Game actor said: “I’m doing Sherlock at the moment.”

World number two Andy in a video posted on Wimbledon’s Facebook page, is then seen breaking into a smile and doing a fist-pump.

After Benedict comments “yeah, for that fist-pump”, Andy asks him how many episodes, and is told “only three”.

The Oscar-nominated actor also asked Andy about how his baby daughter Sophia is doing and was told she is “great” and had slept through the last three nights.
