Disneyland has released a new image depicting its upcoming Star Wars attraction.
The artist’s impression features the Millennium Falcon parked in a cargo bay surrounded by forest, rock spires, landing pads and futuristic buildings.
The 14-acre attraction will be the largest single-themed land expansion at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.

A Disneyland spokeswoman said the image was unveiled on the fence of the park’s Big Thunder Trail in Frontierland, one of the entry points to “this never-before-seen planet in the Star Wars galaxy”.
“Nestled between towering spires of rock, this thriving port contains a seemingly familiar architecture of markets, landing zones and buildings,” the spokeswoman said.
“Look closely and you may find hints of some of the thrilling experiences that are coming – like the Millennium Falcon peeking out of one of the cargo bays, marking the location where guests will get the opportunity to pilot the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy.”

The Star Wars expansion at Disneyland and Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, will include a virtual reality ride that allows fans to pilot the Millennium Falcon, fight in a battle between the Resistance and the First Order and meet droids and aliens.
Harrison Ford and robot droid BB-8 unveiled details of the highly anticipated attraction in February during a TV special celebrating Disneyland’s 60th anniversary.
“Star Wars is, for lack of a better word … awesome,” the star who played Han Solo said at the time. “I’m so blessed that I had the opportunity to be a part of it, to walk in these iconic locations. And soon, you’ll be able to do that as well. Not in a galaxy far, far away, but in a place close to home.”
An official opening date for the Star Wars-themed lands has yet to be announced.
